HOME FIELD

Home Field is the youth athletics hub of Sullivan County. Three ball fields, a full-size football field with surrounding track, batting cages, pickleball courts, and a new concession building — all on 25 acres in the heart of Blountville.

Football Field & Track

OPEN

Full-size football field with surrounding track. New bleachers and press box on the north side. 6-foot fence surrounding the entire track and field complex. Rubberized track surface planned for Phase 2. Host to youth football, track meets, and community fitness programming.

Little League Fields

NEW

Two brand-new Little League baseball fields. Phase I of the Home Field Athletic Park, constructed by J.A. Street & Associates. Completed December 2025. Blountville Little League plays here starting spring 2026.

Field 3

OPEN

Existing multi-use athletic field. Baseball, softball, and practice use. Available for league play and community use.

Batting Cages

OPEN

Practice batting cages adjacent to the ball fields. Available during scheduled league times and open practice hours.

Pickleball Courts

OPEN

Dedicated pickleball courts. Open play and organized league opportunities. Sullivan County's fastest-growing sport now has a home.

Community Playground

OPEN

Open-access playground for kids adjacent to the athletic complex. Ideal while siblings are at practice or games.

YOUTH

LEAGUES & PROGRAMS

Home Field is the home venue for Blountville Little League and Sullivan County youth sports programs. Every kid deserves a home field. Here's how they can play.

Little League Baseball

Registering

Blountville Little League plays on brand-new Fields 1 and 2 — the first phase of the Home Field Athletic Park. T-ball through Majors divisions. Season runs April through June with all-stars in July.

Ages: 4–12

Season: April – July

Games: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday

Youth Football

Fall 2026

Friday Night Lights comes to Home Field. Youth football on the main field under the lights with new bleachers, press box, and full concessions. Flag and tackle divisions.

Ages: 5–14

Season: September – November

Games: Friday nights

Pickleball Open Play

Open

Sullivan County's fastest-growing sport now has a permanent home. Open play is free during park hours. Organized leagues and round-robin tournaments monthly. Paddles available to borrow at the community center.

Ages: All ages

Schedule: Open play daily, leagues forming

Cost: Free

Track & Run Club

Open

The track is open to the public year-round (rubberized surface planned for Phase 2). Tuesday night community fitness classes rotate between boot camp, yoga, and run club. The Home Field 5K in May is the annual signature running event.

GAME DAY AT HOME FIELD

Concessions

The concession stand is open during all scheduled games. Hot dogs, nachos, drinks, and snacks.

Parking

Use the Field Lot (east side) or Track Lot (south side) for athletic events. 280+ total spaces.

Spectators

Bleachers on the north side of the track and field. Walking path is open during games. Lawn chairs welcome along the outfield fences.

What to Bring

Lawn chair, water bottle, sunscreen, cash for concessions (card also accepted). For Friday Night Lights: a blanket and a jacket — it gets cool after sunset.
